Hey there. Bet you thought we had fallen asleep at the wheel here at Double Negative Records. Sorry for the lack of updates, but I promise you we are alive and kicking. I’ll spare you the cliché promises of impending greatness in the year ahead. Let me just say that we’ll keep doing stuff and we hope it’s cool.

Both Death of a Party and Postcoitus have scheduled a bunch of shows in the months ahead. Check out our shows page for all the details so you’ll know where to go and look cool with your asymmetrical hairdo. Death of a Party is even heading down to Los Angeles in March so they can show all those Southern California kids how we do it in Oakland.

Look for more new music in 2006 on Double Negative Records. There’s nothing we can announce yet, but some exciting stuff is brewing around here. And I’m not talking about meth or crack. Not everything you hear about Oakland is true. It is pretty ghetto though.
